The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. A method by a first base station, which includes receiving, from a second base station, a first message for requesting cell global identity (CGI) measurement; transmitting, to a terminal, a second message including configuration information for the CGI measurement based on the first message; and transmitting, to the second base station, a third message including a measurement report based on the configuration information.

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système de communication permettant de combiner un système de communication de 5ème génération (5G) avec une technologie de l'Internet des objets (IdO) afin de prendre en charge des débits de données supérieurs à ceux d'un système de 4ème génération (4G). La présente invention peut être appliquée à des services intelligents basés sur la technologie de communication 5G et sur la technologie relative à l'IdO, tels que des services de maison intelligente, de bâtiment intelligent, de ville intelligente, de voiture intelligente, de voiture connectée, de soins de santé, d'éducation numérique, de vente au détail intelligente, de sûreté et de sécurité. L'invention concerne un procédé réalisé par une première station de base, qui comprend les étapes consistant à : recevoir, en provenance d'une seconde station de base, un premier message pour demander une mesure d'identité globale de cellule (CGI) ; transmettre, à un terminal, un second message comprenant des informations de configuration pour la mesure de CGI sur la base du premier message ; et transmettre, à la seconde station de base, un troisième message comprenant un rapport de mesure sur la base des informations de configuration.
