An electronic device and a key input method using an external input device are provided. The electronic device includes a camera; a display; a communication interface; a memory; and a processor. The processor is configured to establish an electrical connection to an external keyboard; obtain an image of the external keyboard; set a key arrangement for the external keyboard based on the obtained image; and generate information corresponding to a key input signal received from the external keyboard based on the set key arrangement.

L'invention concerne un dispositif électronique ainsi qu'un procédé d'entrée de touche utilisant un dispositif d'entrée externe. Le dispositif électronique comprend une caméra, un dispositif d'affichage, une interface de communication, une mémoire et un processeur. Le processeur est configuré pour : établir une connexion électrique avec un clavier externe ; obtenir une image du clavier externe ; définir une disposition de touches pour le clavier externe d’après l'image obtenue ; et générer des informations correspondant à un signal d'entrée de touche reçu du clavier externe d’après la disposition de touches définie.
