The present invention relates to a cathode additive for a lithium secondary battery, a preparation method therefor, a cathode for a lithium secondary battery, comprising same, and a lithium secondary battery comprising same. A cathode additive for a lithium secondary battery, according to one embodiment of the present invention, is represented by the following chemical formula 1. [Chemical formula 1] Li6xCo1-yMyO4 (In chemical formula 1, 0.9≤x≤1.1, 0<y≤0.1, My is BaWb , 0≤a≤0.1, 0≤b≤0.1, and a and b are simultaneously not 0.) In addition, a cathode additive for a lithium secondary battery, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a core represented by the following chemical formula 2; and a coating layer comprising boron (B) and/or tungsten (W). La présente invention porte sur un additif de cathode pour une batterie secondaire au lithium, sur son procédé de préparation, sur une cathode pour batterie secondaire au lithium, comprenant l’additif, et sur une batterie secondaire au lithium les comprenant.
