According to certain embodiments, an electronic device comprises at least one processor; and a memory operatively connected with the at least one processor and storing a plurality of identifiers related to attributes of a communication bearer. The memory stores instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the electronic device to: receive information related to multi radio access technology (RAT) dual connectivity (MR-DC) from a first base station (BS) connected with a first core network, using a first frequency band; transmit a first packet data network (PDN) connectivity request comprising a first identifier among the plurality of identifiers and a second PDN connectivity request comprising a second identifier among the plurality of identifiers to the first BS, using the first frequency band; establish a first PDN session with the first BS and the first core network, in which the first PDN session provides a communication bearer having a first attribute related to the first identifier; establish a second PDN session with the first BS and the first core network, in which the second PDN session provides a communication bearer having a second attribute related to the second identifier; receive from the first BS, a message indicating that the first BS is connected with a second BS; and communicate using signals with the second BS and the first core network through the second PDN session based on at least a part of the message, using the second frequency band.

Conformément à certains modes de réalisation de la présente invention, un dispositif électronique comprend au moins un processeur ; et une mémoire connectée de manière fonctionnelle audit processeur et stockant une pluralité d'identifiants associés à des attributs d'une porteuse de communication. La mémoire stocke des instructions qui, lorsqu'elles sont exécutées par ledit processeur, amènent le dispositif électronique : à recevoir des informations se rapportant à une technologie d'accès radio multiple (RAT) de connectivité double (MR-DC) à partir d'une première station de base (BS) connectée à un premier réseau central, à l'aide d'une première bande de fréquences ; à transmettre une première demande de connectivité de réseau de données par paquet (PDN) comprenant un premier identifiant parmi la pluralité d'identifiants et une seconde demande de connectivité PDN comprenant un second identifiant parmi la pluralité d'identifiants à la première BS, à l'aide de la première bande de fréquences ; à établir une première session PDN avec la première BS et le premier réseau central, dans laquelle la première session PDN fournit une porteuse de communication ayant un premier attribut associé au premier identifiant ; à établir une seconde session PDN avec la première BS et le premier réseau central, dans laquelle la seconde session PDN fournit une porteuse de communication ayant un second attribut associé au second identifiant ; à recevoir de la première BS un message indiquant que la première BS est connectée à une seconde BS ; et à communiquer à l'aide de signaux avec la seconde BS et le premier réseau central par l'intermédiaire de la seconde session PDN sur la base d'au moins une partie du message, à l'aide de la seconde bande de fréquences.
