Disclosed is an electronic device. The electronic device includes a communicator comprising communication circuitry and a processor, the processor is configured to control the communicator to perform communication with an external device based on identifying that a strength of a signal received from an external device is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold value, and after converting an electronic device to a low power mode, based on identifying that a strength of a signal received from an external device being within a first range, to control the electronic device to perform a secure pairing operation.

L'invention concerne un dispositif électronique. Le dispositif électronique comprend un dispositif de communication comportant un circuit de communication et un processeur, le processeur étant conçu pour commander le dispositif de communication afin qu'il établisse une communication avec un dispositif externe lorsqu'il est établi qu'une intensité d'un signal reçu en provenance d'un dispositif externe est égale ou supérieure à une valeur seuil prédéfinie, et après la conversion d'un dispositif électronique en un mode de faible puissance, lorsqu'il est établi qu'une intensité d'un signal reçu en provenance d'un dispositif externe se trouve ou non dans une première plage, pour commander le dispositif électronique afin qu'il effectue une opération d'appariement sécurisée.
