The present invention provides a defect grinding method for round steel by which a defect portion of round steel can be automatically ground without causing such error grinding that a position of the defect portion and a grinding position are misaligned, and a manufacturing method for steel. A defect grinding method for round steel is provided with: a marking step (Step S2) for coating, with a marking M, a defect portion having a predetermined depth or more, which has been subjected to flaw detection in a flaw detection step (Step S1); a defect portion map creation step (Step S3) for creating a defect portion map (50) from a flaw detection result in the flaw detection step; and a defect portion grinding step (Step S4) for grinding the defect portion. In a marking spot grinding step (Step S47) in the defect portion grinding step, grinding positioning of a round steel S in a longitudinal direction is decided by referring to the defect portion map (50). Grinding positioning of the round steep S in a circumferential direction is decided by referring to an extraction result for the marking (M) by the marking detection step (Step S46). A grinding depth is decided by checking the defect portion map (50) and the extraction result for the marking (M).

La présente invention concerne un procédé de meulage de défaut pour un acier rond au moyen duquel une partie de défaut de l'acier rond peut être meulée automatiquement sans provoquer un meulage par erreur au cours duquel une position de la partie de défaut et une position de meulage sont désalignées, l'invention concernant également un procédé de fabrication d'acier. Un procédé de meulage de défaut pour acier rond comprend: une étape de marquage (étape S2) de revêtement, avec un marquage M, une partie de défaut ayant une profondeur prédéterminée ou plus, qui a été soumise à une détection de défaut dans une étape de détection de défaut (étape S1); une étape de création de carte de partie de défaut (étape S3) pour créer une carte de partie de défaut (50) à partir d'un résultat de détection de défaut dans l'étape de détection de défaut; et une étape de meulage de partie de défaut (étape S4) pour meuler la partie de défaut. Dans une étape de meulage au niveau du point de marquage (étape S47) dans l'étape de meulage de partie de défaut, le positionnement au cours du meulage d'un acier rond S dans une direction longitudinale est décidé en se référant à la carte de partie de défaut (50). Le positionnement au cours du meulage de l'acier rond S dans une direction circonférentielle est décidé en se référant à un résultat d'extraction pour le marquage (M) par l'étape de détection de marquage (étape S46). Une profondeur de meulage est décidée par vérification de la carte de partie de défaut (50) et du résultat d'extraction pour le marquage (M).

欠陥部の位置と研削位置との間にずれが生じる誤研削が行われることなく丸鋼材の欠陥部を自動で研削することができる丸鋼材の欠陥研削方法および鋼材の製造方法を提供する。丸鋼材の欠陥研削方法は、探傷工程(ステップS1)で探傷した所定深さ以上の欠陥部にマーキングMを塗布するマーキング工程(ステップS2)と、探傷工程での探傷結果から欠陥部マップ(50)を作成する欠陥部マップ作成工程(ステップS3)と、欠陥部を研削する欠陥部研削工程(ステップS4)とを備える。欠陥部研削工程におけるマーキング箇所研削工程(ステップS47)では、丸鋼材Sの長手方向の研削位置合わせは欠陥部マップ(50)を参照して決定し、丸鋼材Sの周方向の研削位置合わせはマーキング検出工程(ステップS46)によるマーキング(M)の抽出結果を参照して決定し、研削深さは欠陥部マップ(50)及びマーキング(M)の抽出結果を照合して決定する。
