A polymerizable composition which contains an ultraviolet absorbent that is represented by general formula (I), a coloring agent that has a maximum absorption wavelength of 400 nm or more but less than 450 nm, and a polymerizable compound; and a contact lens. In general formula (I), R11 represents an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, or a heterocyclic group having a carbon atom that is bonded to an adjacent oxygen atom; each of R12, R13, R14, R15 and R16 independently represents a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, or a heterocyclic group having a carbon atom that is bonded to an adjacent oxygen atom; and Y11 represents an electron-withdrawing group. Incidentally, R12 and R13, R13 and R15, R15 and Y11, Y11 and R11, Y11 and R21, R11 and R14, R21 and R14, R14 and R16, and R16 and R12 may respectively combine with each other to form a ring.

L'invention concerne une composition polymérisable qui contient un absorbant d'ultraviolets qui est représenté par la formule générale (I), un agent colorant qui a une longueur d'onde d'absorption maximale de 400 nm ou plus mais inférieure à 450 nm, et un composé polymérisable. L'invention concerne en outre une lentille de contact. Dans la formule générale (I), R11 représente un groupe aliphatique, un groupe aromatique ou un groupe hétérocyclique ayant un atome de carbone qui est lié à un atome d'oxygène adjacent ; chacun de R12, R13, R14, R15 et R16 représente indépendamment un atome d'hydrogène, un groupe aliphatique, un groupe aromatique, ou un groupe hétérocyclique ayant un atome de carbone qui est lié à un atome d'oxygène adjacent ; et Y11 représente un groupe attracteur d'électrons. Incidemment, R12 et R13, R13 et R15, R15 et Y11, Y11 et R11, Y11 et R21, R11 et R14, R21 et R14, R14 et R16, et R16 et R12 peuvent se combiner respectivement les uns aux autres pour former un cycle.
