The present invention suppresses the cost of a game device. A game device 10 includes a left game housing and a right game housing, and is provided with: one camera that is provided between the left game housing and the right game housing, and is able to capture images of both players of one player and another player that are located in front of the respective game housings; a first image capture means 64 that controls the camera to capture an image at a predetermined timing in the left game housing; a second image capture means 66 that controls the camera to capture an image at a timing independent of the predetermined timing in the right game housing; a first extraction means 68 that extracts a player image of the one player from the captured image captured by the first image capture means 64; and a second extraction means 70 that extracts a player image of the other player from the captured image captured by the second image capture means 66.

La présente invention permet de supprimer le coût d'un dispositif de jeu. Un dispositif de jeu (10) comprend un boîtier de jeu gauche et un boîtier de jeu droit et comprend : une caméra qui est disposée entre le boîtier de jeu gauche et le boîtier de jeu droit et est apte à capturer des images des deux joueurs d'un joueur et d'un autre joueur qui sont situés devant les boîtiers de jeu respectifs ; un premier moyen de capture d'image (64) qui commande la caméra pour capturer une image à un moment prédéfini dans le boîtier de jeu gauche ; un second moyen de capture d'image (66) qui commande la caméra pour capturer une image à un moment indépendant du moment prédéfini dans le boîtier de jeu droit ; un premier moyen d'extraction (68) qui extrait une image de joueur du premier joueur à partir de l'image capturée, capturée par le premier moyen de capture d'image (64) ; et un second moyen d'extraction (70) qui extrait une image de joueur de l'autre joueur à partir de l'image capturée, capturée par le second moyen de capture d'image (66).
