A method in which gold particles are coated with protein, the method being characterized by using either of the following buffering solutions. 1) A buffering solution that has a final salt concentration, excluding MgCl2 and DTT, of greater than 0 mM but no greater than 3.5 mM. 2) A buffering solution that does not include a salt.

L'invention concerne un procédé dans lequel des particules d'or sont revêtues d'une protéine, le procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il utilise l'une ou l'autre des solutions tampons suivantes. 1) Une solution tampon qui a une concentration finale en sel, à l'exclusion du MgCl2 et du DTT, est supérieure à 0 mM mais pas supérieure à 3,5 mM. 2) Une solution tampon qui ne comprend pas de sel.
