Peening is performed at a room temperature for a surface of a weld toe and/or structure members close to the weld toe of a welded joint acquired by welding the structure members which constitute a weld structure, and then an aging heat treatment is performed in which the welded joint is held for one second or longer within a temperature range of 150 to 450ºC and is air-cooled thereafter.

Le martelage est effectué à une température ambiante pour une surface d'un bord de soudure et/ou d'éléments de structure proches du bord de soudure d'un joint soudé acquis par soudage des éléments de structure qui constituent une structure de soudure, puis un traitement thermique de vieillissement est effectué dans lequel le joint soudé est maintenu pendant une seconde ou plus dans une plage de température de 150 à 450 °C et est ensuite refroidi à l'air.
