The present invention suppresses a decrease in energy density of a battery, and suppresses the occurrence of an internal short circuit between a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate positioned at the innermost periphery at which the curvature of the curved part of a flat electrode body is greatest. In this non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising an electrode body (14) that is wound flat, the electrode body has a pair of curved parts (20A, 20B) positioned at both ends, and a flat part (21) positioned between the pair of curved parts, and of the pair of curved parts, at least at one of the curved parts, at least two layers of a second electrode plate are placed on the inside of the curved part positioned at the innermost periphery in a first electrode plate.

La présente invention supprime une diminution de la densité d'énergie d'une batterie, et supprime l'apparition d'un court-circuit interne entre une plaque d'électrode positive et une plaque d'électrode négative positionnée au niveau de la périphérie la plus à l'intérieur au niveau de laquelle la courbure de la partie incurvée d'un corps d'électrode plat est la plus grande.
