A light source device according to the present disclosure includes: a sapphire plate that has a first surface and a second surface opposed to each other; a wavelength conversion material that is located opposed to the first surface of the sapphire plate; and a first excitation light source that emits first excitation light having directivity, to the wavelength conversion material through the second surface. The angles of the first surface and the second surface with respect to a c-axis of the sapphire are greater than 80 degrees, and the angle between the c-axis and the optical axis of the first excitation light is equal to or greater than 20 degrees. An illumination device according to the present disclosure includes the light source device and a light guide member.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif source de lumière comprenant : une plaque de saphir comportant une première surface et une seconde surface opposées l'une à l'autre ; un matériau de conversion de longueur d'onde situé à l'opposé de la première surface de la plaque de saphir ; et une première source de lumière d'excitation qui émet une première lumière d'excitation ayant une directivité, vers le matériau de conversion de longueur d'onde par l'intermédiaire de la seconde surface. Les angles de la première surface et de la seconde surface par rapport à un axe c du saphir sont supérieurs à 80 degrés, et l'angle entre l'axe c et l'axe optique de la première lumière d'excitation est supérieur ou égal à 20 degrés.
