Provided are a reflection-type transparent screen which has a narrow viewing angle but exhibits high luminance across a wide region of the screen, and an image display system. The reflection-type transparent screen is provided with a first transparent layer 32 having a roughened relief surface, a reflection layer 40 formed on the roughened relief surface, and a second transparent layer 52 formed so as to fill the recesses and projections on the roughened relief surface on which the reflection layer 40 is formed, the roughened relief surface of the first transparent layer 32 having an inclination angle in the range of -44° to +44° in a first direction, and an inclination angle in the range of -44° to +44° in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

L'invention concerne un écran transparent de type à réflexion ayant un angle de vision étroit mais présentant une luminance élevée sur une large région de l'écran et un système d'affichage d'image. L'écran transparent de type à réflexion est pourvu d'une première couche transparente (32) ayant une surface en relief rugueuse, d'une couche de réflexion (40) formée sur la surface en relief rugueuse et une seconde couche transparente (52) formée de manière à remplir les creux et les saillies sur la surface en relief rugueuse sur laquelle la couche de réflexion (40) est formée, la surface en relief rugueuse de la première couche transparente (32) ayant un angle d'inclinaison dans la plage allant de -44° à +44° dans une première direction, et un angle d'inclinaison dans la plage allant de -44° à +44° dans une seconde direction perpendiculaire à la première direction.

視野角は狭いが、スクリーンにおける広い領域に亘って高い輝度を呈する反射型透明スクリーンおよび映像表示システムを提供する。 反射型透明スクリーンは、凹凸面を有する第1の透明層32と、凹凸面上に形成された反射層40と、反射層40が形成された凹凸面上に該凹凸を埋めるように形成された第2の透明層52とを備え、第1の透明層32の凹凸面は、第一方向の傾斜角度が-44°~+44°の範囲内にあり、第一方向に垂直な第二方向の傾斜角度が-44°~+44°の範囲内にある。
