The present invention addresses the problem of preventing the shortage of an oil film at a spline fitting portion by supplying lubricating oil to the joint where the rotating shaft of a motor and the input gear shaft of a speed reducer section are joined by spline fitting or the like. This in-wheel motor device is provided with an electric motor section A, a speed reducer section B which reduces the speed of the electric motor section A and outputs the reduced speed, and a bearing section C for a wheel, which transmits to the wheel the output from the speed reducer section B. The speed reducer section B is accommodated in a speed reducer casing 22 and is provided with an input gear shaft 30, an intermediate gear shaft 31, and an output gear shaft 36. The input gear shaft 30 is configured as a hollow shaft and is coaxially connected to the rotating shaft 25 of the electric motor section A by spline fitting. An oil supply opening 85a which supplies lubricating oil into the input gear shaft 30, and an oil storage section 22d which communicates with the oil supply opening 85a are formed at positions facing the outboard-side end section of the input gear shaft 30.

La présente invention aborde le problème de prévention du manque d'un film d'huile au niveau d'une partie de raccord à cannelure par fourniture d'huile de lubrification à l'articulation où l'arbre rotatif d'un moteur et l'arbre d'engrenage d'entrée d'une section réducteur de vitesse sont joints par un raccord à cannelure ou similaire. Le dispositif de moteur-roue selon l'invention est pourvu d'une section moteur électrique (A), d'une section réducteur de vitesse (B) qui réduit la vitesse de la section moteur électrique (A) et délivre la vitesse réduite, et d'une section palier (C) pour une roue, qui transmet à la roue la sortie de la section réducteur de vitesse (B). La section réducteur de vitesse (B) est logée dans un carter de réducteur de vitesse (22) et est pourvue d'un arbre d'engrenage d'entrée (30), d'un arbre d'engrenage intermédiaire (31) et d'un arbre d'engrenage de sortie (36). L'arbre d'engrenage d'entrée (30) est conçu sous la forme d'un arbre creux et est relié de façon coaxiale à l'arbre rotatif (25) de la section moteur électrique (A) par un raccord à cannelure. Une ouverture d'alimentation en huile (85a) qui fournit de l'huile de lubrification dans l'arbre d'engrenage d'entrée (30) et une section de stockage d'huile (22d) qui communique avec l'ouverture d'alimentation en huile (85a) sont formées à des positions faisant face à la section d'extrémité côté extérieur de l'arbre d'engrenage d'entrée (30).
