A transceiver (1) uses an LO signal, which is a local oscillation signal, to up-convert an IF signal having a given frequency band, thereby generating a transmission signal RFTX. The transceiver (1) also generates an (LO + IF)2 signal and an (LO – IF)2 signal on the basis of the IF signal and the LO signal. A reception signal RFRX is down-converted by use of an LO signal obtained by adding together the (LO + IF)2 signal and the (LO – IF)2 signal, whereby the need for a local oscillation signal generation unit in a reception unit can be eliminated.

La présente invention concerne un émetteur-récepteur (1) utilisant un signal LO, qui est un signal d'oscillateur local, pour élever la fréquence d'un signal IF ayant une bande de fréquence donnée, générant ainsi un signal de transmission RFTX. L'émetteur-récepteur (1) génère également un signal (LO + FI)2 et un signal (LO - FI)2 sur la base du signal FI et du signal LO. Un signal de réception RFRX est abaissé en fréquence en utilisant un signal LO obtenu en additionnant le signal (LO + IF)2 et le signal (LO - IF)2, ce qui permet d'éliminer la nécessité d'une unité de génération de signal d'oscillation locale dans une unité de réception.

送受信機(1)は、局部発振信号であるLO信号を用いて、所定の周波数帯域を有するIF信号をアップコンバートし、送信信号RFTXを生成する。また、送受信機(1)は、IF信号とLO信号に基づいて、(LO+IF)信号と(LO-IF)信号とを生成する。(LO+IF)信号と(LO-IF)信号とを加算して得られるLO信号を用いて、受信信号RFRXをダウンコンバートすることにより、受信部の局部発振信号生成部が不要となる。
