The present invention precisely determines a point at which to switch to a highly accurate map. A vehicle control system is provided with: a route generation unit that generates information on a route to be travelled by a vehicle; a position measurement unit that measures the position of the vehicle; a travel control unit that controls the travel of the vehicle in accordance with the route information; and a map data management unit that holds map data to be used for controlling the travel of the vehicle, and outputs the map data to the travel control unit. The map data management unit: uses position information of an entrance road from which entry to a road included in the map data is possible, and determines whether a road included in the map data is being travelled; and determines, at a position that is not an entrance road, upon the receipt of prescribed information from the travel control unit or the route generation unit, whether a road included in the map data is being travelled. The travel control unit prohibits vehicle travel control by the travel control unit if the map data management unit determined that a road included in the map data is not being travelled.

La présente invention concerne la détermination précise d'un point au niveau duquel il faut commuter vers une carte haute précision. Un système de commande de véhicule comprend : une unité de génération d'itinéraire qui génère des informations sur un itinéraire à parcourir par un véhicule ; une unité de mesure de position qui mesure la position du véhicule ; une unité de commande de déplacement qui commande le déplacement du véhicule en fonction des informations d'itinéraire ; et une unité de gestion de données cartographiques qui conserve des données cartographiques à utiliser pour commander le déplacement du véhicule, et délivre les données cartographiques à l'unité de commande de déplacement. L'unité de gestion de données cartographiques : utilise des informations de position d'une route d'entrée à partir de laquelle une entrée dans une route incluse dans les données cartographiques est possible, et détermine si une route incluse dans les données cartographiques est parcourue ; et détermine, au niveau d'une position qui n'est pas une route d'entrée, lors de la réception d'informations prescrites provenant de l'unité de commande de déplacement ou de l'unité de génération d'itinéraire, si une route incluse dans les données cartographiques est parcourue. L'unité de commande de déplacement interdit la commande de déplacement de véhicule par l'unité de commande de déplacement si l'unité de gestion de données cartographiques détermine qu'une route incluse dans les données cartographiques n'est pas parcourue.

本発明は、高精度地図への切替ポイントを的確に判定する。車両が走行する経路情報を生成する経路生成部と、車両の位置を測定する位置測定部と、経路情報に従った車両の走行を制御する走行制御部と、車両の走行を制御するために使用される地図データを保持し、地図データを走行制御部に出力する地図データ管理部とを備える車両制御システムであって、前記地図データ管理部は、地図データに含まれる道路へ進入可能な入口道路の位置情報を用いて地図データに含まれる道路を走行しているかを判定し、入口道路ではない位置において、走行制御部又は経路生成部からの所定の情報の受信を契機として、地図データに含まれる道路を走行しているかを判定し、走行制御部は、地図データに含まれる道路を走行していないと地図データ管理部が判定した場合、走行制御部による車両の走行の制御を禁止する。
