An image processing device, image processing method, and program are provided which can reduce the time and effort it takes to correct medical image segmentation. This image processing device is provided with an image acquisition unit (40) which acquires medical images (200), a segmentation unit (42) which segments medical images that were acquired using the image acquisition unit and which classifies the medical images into prescribed classes for each local region, a global feature acquisition unit (46) which acquires global features representing features of a medical image as a whole, and a correction unit (44) which takes into account the relation between the global features and classes and, in accordance with the global features, corrects the class of correction target regions, which are local regions in the medical image the class of which is to be corrected.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement d'image, un procédé de traitement d'image et un programme qui peuvent réduire le temps et les efforts nécessaires pour corriger une segmentation d'image médicale. Le dispositif de traitement d'image selon l'invention est pourvu d'une unité d'acquisition d'image (40) qui acquiert des images médicales (200), d'une unité de segmentation (42) qui segmente les images médicales qui ont été acquises à l'aide de l'unité d'acquisition d'image et qui classifie les images médicales en classes prescrites pour chaque région locale, d'une unité d'acquisition de caractéristiques globales (46) qui acquiert des caractéristiques globales représentant des caractéristiques d'une image médicale dans son ensemble et d'une unité de correction (44) qui prend en compte la relation entre les caractéristiques globales et les classes et, en fonction des caractéristiques globales, corrige la classe de régions cibles de correction, qui sont des régions locales dans l'image médicale dont la classe doit être corrigée.
