The present disclosure relates to an image processing device and method which make it possible to suppress an increase in prediction error. Captured image data are encoded using prediction by a prediction scheme which is set on the basis of a focusing-related parameter. Encoded data of the captured image data are decoded using prediction by a prediction scheme which is set on the basis of a focusing-related parameter. The present disclosure is applicable to, for example, an image processing device, an image encoding device, an image decoding device, an imaging element, or an imaging device.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de traitement d'image qui permettent de supprimer une augmentation d'erreurs de prédiction.
