The purpose of the present invention is to provide a new technique when displaying a video on a full-circumference screen. Provided is an image display device comprising: an emission unit for emitting image light along a prescribed axis; a screen arranged over the entire circumference around the prescribed axis and composed of a cylindrical shape of which the prescribed axis is approximately the center axis; and an optical unit arranged facing the emission unit, with the prescribed axis as a point of reference, for controlling the incident angle of the image light emitted by the emission unit relative to the screen. The video displayed by the image light having entered the screen is the one simultaneously displayed over the entire circumference around the prescribed axis.

Le but de la présente invention est de fournir une nouvelle technique permettant d'afficher une vidéo sur un écran à 360 degrés. L'invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage d'image comprenant : une unité d'émission pour émettre une lumière d'image le long d'un axe prescrit; un écran disposé sur toute la circonférence autour de l'axe prescrit et composé d'une forme cylindrique dont l'axe prescrit est approximativement l'axe central; et une unité optique disposée en face de l'unité d'émission, avec l'axe prescrit en tant que point de référence, pour commander l'angle incident de la lumière d'image émise par l'unité d'émission par rapport à l'écran. La vidéo affichée par la lumière d'image ayant atteint l'écran est celle affichée simultanément sur toute la circonférence autour de l'axe prescrit.
