L’invention concerne un film optique qui est constitué d’une résine (C) qui contient un copolymère (P) contenant à son tour une unité polymère (A) et une unité polymère (B). En outre, ce film optique contient une structure de séparation de phases exprimant une biréfringence structurale. Ladite structure de séparation de phases contient une phase (A) ayant pour composant principal ladite unité polymère (A), et une phase (B) ayant pour composant principal ladite unité polymère (B). |n(A)-n(B)| est supérieur ou égal à 0,12.
