This sealing device is disposed between an outer member and an inner member of a rolling bearing, to seal a gap between the inner member and the outer member, which rotate relative to one another. The sealing device includes an annular rigid portion which is formed from a rigid material and which is fixed inside a hole in the outer member, and a resilient portion which is formed from a resilient material and which is fixed to the rigid portion. The resilient portion includes a frustoconical annular seal lip in slidable contact with the inner member or a member fixed to the inner member. A plurality of projections which are in constant slidable contact with the inner member or the member fixed to the inner member are formed on an inner circumferential surface of the seal lip, and gaps exist between the seal lip and the inner member or the member fixed to the inner member, in parts around the projections.

L’invention concerne un dispositif d'étanchéité étant disposé entre un élément externe et un élément interne d'un palier à roulement, pour sceller un espace entre l'élément interne et l'élément externe, qui tournent l'un par rapport à l'autre. Le dispositif d'étanchéité comprend une partie rigide annulaire qui est formée à partir d'un matériau rigide et qui est fixée à l'intérieur d'un trou dans l'élément externe, et une partie élastique qui est formée à partir d'un matériau élastique et qui est fixée à la partie rigide.
