Abstract

This invention accommodates a power conversion unit (14) for converting power. A housing (70) comprises a heatsink (13), a second case (12), and a first case (11). A plurality of switching elements (141) are disposed on the heatsink (13), which dissipates heat from the plurality of switching elements (141). The second case (12) has an opening (120) formed by an edge part (127) and accommodates a reactor (142). The first case (11) accommodates the plurality of switching elements (141) and has the heatsink (13) and second case (12) attached thereto. The second case (12) comprises a wall (122) that extends from the edge part (127) and surrounds the reactor (142) and a fixing part (30) that fixes the second case (12) to the first case (11) such that the edge part (127) side of the second case (12) faces the first case (11). The fixing part (30) is positioned in an area surrounded by the outer surface (124) of the wall (122).
