A cylinder liner according to the present invention is characterized by being made of a flaky graphite cast iron, attached to a cylinder block, having at least a nitrided layer on the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder liner , and having a cross hatch section formed therein, wherein the roughness curve of the inner peripheral surface has a flat honing shape, the ten point average roughness Rz of the inner peripheral surface according to JIS B0601:1982 is no greater than 4.0 μm, and the area fraction of bits formed on the inner peripheral surface has an average value of no greater than 8%.

Une chemise de cylindre selon la présente invention est caractérisée en ce qu'elle est constituée d'une fonte à graphite lamellaire, fixée à un bloc-cylindres, ayant au moins une couche nitrurée sur la surface périphérique interne de la chemise de cylindre, et ayant une section de trappe transversale formée en son sein, la courbe de rugosité de la surface périphérique interne ayant une forme de rodage plate, la rugosité moyenne sur dix points Rz de la surface périphérique interne selon la norme JIS B0601:1982 n'est pas supérieure à 4,0 µm, et la fraction surfacique des morceaux formée sur la surface périphérique interne a une valeur moyenne non supérieure à 8 %.

本発明のシリンダライナは、シリンダブロックに装着される片状黒鉛鋳鉄製シリンダライナにおいて、前記シリンダライナの内周面に少なくとも窒化処理層を有し、かつ、クロスハッチ部が形成されるとともに、内周面の粗さ曲線がプラトーホーニング形状であり、JIS B0601:1982に準拠した内周面の十点平均粗さRzが4.0μm以下であり、内周面に生成されたピットの面積率が平均値で8%以下であることを特徴とする。
