The invention concerns a suborbital space traffic control system (20) that comprises: a radar system (21) configured to monitor a predetermined suborbital region (30) and detect and track objects (41, 42) in said predetermined suborbital region (30), wherein said objects include vehicles (41) and space debris (42); and a suborbital space traffic monitoring system (22) configured to: receive, from the radar system (21), tracking data related to the objects (41, 42) detected and tracked by said radar system (21); monitor, on the basis of the tracking data, trajectories of the objects (41, 42) in the predetermined suborbital region (30) using one or more predetermined machine-learning techniques to detect potentially hazardous situations for the vehicles (41) in said predetermined suborbital region (30); and, if it detects a potentially hazardous situation for one or more given vehicles (41), transmit corresponding alarm messages to said given vehicle(s) (41). The radar system (21) includes a primary radar sensor (211) equipped with an electronically scanned array antenna; an ADS-B receiver (212) based on Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast technology; and a radar processing unit (213), which is connected to the primary radar sensor (211) and to the ADS-B receiver (212) to receive data therefrom.

L'invention concerne un système de commande de trafic d'espace suborbital (20) comprenant : un système radar (21) conçu pour surveiller une région suborbitale prédéterminée (30) et détecter et suivre des objets (41, 42) dans ladite région suborbitale prédéterminée (30), lesdits objets comprenant des véhicules (41) et des débris spatiaux (42) ; et un système de surveillance de trafic d'espace suborbital (22) conçu pour : recevoir, en provenance du système radar (21), des données de suivi relatives aux objets (41, 42) détectés et suivis par ledit système radar (21) ; surveiller, en fonction des données de suivi, des trajectoires des objets (41, 42) dans la région suborbitale prédéterminée (30) à l'aide d'une ou plusieurs techniques prédéterminées d'apprentissage automatique afin de détecter des situations potentiellement dangereuses pour les véhicules (41) dans ladite région suborbitale prédéterminée (30) ; et, en cas de détection d'une situation potentiellement dangereuse pour un ou plusieurs véhicules donnés (41), transmettre des messages d'alarme correspondants auxdits véhicules donnés (41). Le système radar (21) comprend un capteur radar primaire (211) équipé d'une antenne réseau à balayage électronique ; un récepteur ADS-B (212) fondé sur une technologie de surveillance-diffusion dépendante automatique ; et une unité de traitement radar (213), connectée au capteur radar primaire (211) et au récepteur ADS-B (212) afin de recevoir des données de ces derniers.
