Abstract

A linear motor and a method of controlling a linear motor, wherein the linear motor has a stator drive assembly and a mover drive assembly with a series of stator segments, each stator segment stackable on top of one another. The stator alignment features to align the stator segments with a linear motor axis, wherein the mover drive assembly includes one or more mover segments to be driven to move along the linear motor axis when induced by an electric current running through the series of stator segments.

Un moteur linéaire et un procédé de commande d'un moteur linéaire, le moteur linéaire ayant un ensemble d'entraînement de stator et un ensemble d'entraînement de moteur avec une série de segments de stator, chaque segment de stator étant empilable les uns sur les autres. Les éléments d'alignement de stator pour aligner les segments de stator avec un axe de moteur linéaire, l'ensemble d'entraînement de moteur comprenant un ou plusieurs segments de moteur devant être entraînés pour se déplacer le long de l'axe de moteur linéaire lorsqu'il est induit par un courant électrique circulant à travers la série de segments de stator.
