A polymer processing additive (PPA) composition to improve melt extrusion of an extruded composition comprising an extruded thermoplastic polymer, the PPA composition comprising of at least one fluoropolymer having a Mooney viscosity (ML 1+10 @ 121°C) of about 30 to about 90 (ASTM D 1646-06 Part A with an MV 2000 instrument (available from Alpha Technologies, Ohio) using a large rotor (ML 1+10) at 121°С) and at least one polydiorganosiloxane polymer, wherein said extruded thermoplastic polymer is selected from a polypropylene homopolymer, a polypropylene copolymer, and a combination thereof. Also provided is a method for extruding polymers using the PPA compositions, as well as extruded products comprising the PPA composition.

La présente invention concerne une composition d'additif de traitement de polymère (PPA) pour améliorer l'extrusion à l'état fondu d'une composition extrudée comprenant un polymère thermoplastique extrudé, la composition de PPA comprenant au moins un fluoropolymère ayant une viscosité Mooney (ML 1 +10 à 121 °C) d'environ 30 à environ 90 (ASTM D 1646-06 Partie A avec un instrument MV 2000 (disponible auprès de Alpha Technologies, Ohio) à l'aide d'un grand rotor (ML 1 +10) à 121 °C) et au moins un polymère de polydiorganosiloxane, ledit polymère thermoplastique extrudé étant choisi parmi un homopolymère de polypropylène, un copolymère de polypropylène, et une combinaison de ceux-ci. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'extrusion de polymères à l'aide des compositions de PPA, ainsi que des produits extrudés comprenant la composition de PPA.
