Disclosed is a device for filtering a liquid loaded with mineral and/or organic pollutants comprising a chamber delimited by walls, means for supplying the chamber with the liquid, at least one porous filter plate, the plate having two opposing main faces separated by an average thickness e, the plate comprising, at its centre, a through-hole with a wider width l between the two main faces, means for discharging the filtered liquid, in which the filter plate comprises a support made from a solid porous ceramic material and at least one porous barrier layer at least partially, and preferably completely, covering the surface portion of the support placed in contact with the liquid to be filtered, the material comprising silicon carbide, in which the porosity of the material, the porosity of the barrier layer, the thickness e of the filter plate and the difference between the longest length L of the filter plate and the widest width l of its central hole are selected so as to optimise the mechanical performances and the filtering performances.

Dispositif de filtration d'un liquide chargé en polluants minéraux et/ou organiques comprenant une enceinte délimitée par des parois, des moyens d'alimentation de l'enceinte par ledit liquide, au moins une plaque filtrante poreuse, ladite plaque présentant deux faces principales opposées séparées par une épaisseur moyenne e, ladite plaque comprenant en son centre un orifice traversant de plus grande largeur l entre les deux faces principales, des moyens d'évacuation du liquide filtré, dans lequel ladite plaque filtrante comprend un support fait dans un matériau céramique poreux plein et au moins une couche séparatrice poreuse recouvrant au moins pour partie, et de préférence en totalité, la portion de surface du support placée au contact du liquide à filtrer, ledit matériau comprend du Carbure de Silicium, dans lequel la porosité dudit matériau, la porosité de la couche séparatrice, l'épaisseur e de la plaque filtrante et la différence entre la plus grande longueur L de la plaque filtrante et la plus grande largeur l de son orifice central sont sélectionnés pour l'optimisation des performances mécaniques et des performances de filtration.
