La présente invention concerne un procédé réalisé dans un équipement d’utilisateur. Le procédé comprend : l’entrée dans un mode inactif du contrôleur de ressource radio, RRC ; le fait de déterminer des porteuses qui doivent être mesurées durant le mode inactif du RRC ; la réalisation de mesures des porteuses déterminées durant le mode inactif du RRC ; la fourniture des résultats des mesures à un réseau lors de l’entrée dans un mode connecté du RRC.
