The invention relates to a unit for transporting sample containers that contain samples to be analysed by a diagnostic machine, wherein the unit comprises: • - a path (10) for transporting sample racks (3), said path (10) extending in a first direction, said path (10) comprising a first end (102) suitable for receiving a sample rack from a first device and comprising a second end (101) suitable for transferring a sample rack to a second device, • - a movable tray (15) comprising a positioning surface extending along a plane, • - an analysis zone (13) arranged within the positioning surface and a waiting zone (12) arranged within the positioning surface, the analysis zone and the waiting zone being suitable for receiving a sample rack (3) and being offset from the transport path (10), • - selection means (14) configured to move a sample rack (3) between the transport path (10) and the waiting zone (12).

L'invention concerne une unité de transport de contenants d'échantillons qui renferment des échantillons à analyser par un automate de diagnostic, l'unité comprenant : • - une voie (10) de transport de portoirs (3) d'échantillons, ladite voie (10) s'étendant selon une première direction, ladite voie (10) comprenant une première extrémité (102) adaptée pour recevoir un porto ir d'échantillons depuis un premier dispositif et comprenant une deuxième extrémité (101) adaptée pour transmettre un portoir d'échantillons à un deuxième dispositif, • - un plateau (15) mobile comprenant une surface de positionnement s'étendant selon un plan, • - une zone d'analyse (13) agencée au sein de la surface de positionnement et une zone d'attente (12) agencée au sein de la surface de positionnement, la zone d'analyse et la zone d'attente étant adaptées pour accueillir un portoir (3) d'échantillons et étant déportées de la voie de transport (10), • - des moyens (14) de sélection configurés pour déplacer un portoir (3) d'échantillons entre la voie de transport (10) et la zone d'attente (12).
