Abstract

A catheter device (2) is provided for implanting an anchor (9) into body tissue to attach a line (14) to the body tissue. The catheter device (2) comprises: a housing section (4), (8) extending from a distal end of the catheter device (2) along the length of the catheter device (2) toward the proximal end of the catheter device, the housing section (4), (8) comprising a distal part (8) at the distal end of the catheter device (2) and a proximal part 4 located on the proximal side of the distal part (8). An anchor deployment mechanism (106), (110) is provided at the distal part (8) of the housing section (4), (8) for deployment of the anchor (9) for attachment of the anchor (9) to the body tissue. The anchor (9) is held in its stowed position by the anchor deployment mechanism (106, 110) in the distal part (8) prior to deployment, and the anchor (9) comprises a number of hooks (62) for engagement with the body tissue and having a folded position and an unfolded position, wherein the anchor (9) is made of an elastic material such that the hooks (62) can be elastically deformed into the folded position by application of a constraining force, and will return to the unfolded position when no constraining force is applied, and wherein the hooks (62) are held in the folded position whilst the anchor (9) is in the stowed position within the distal part (8). The distal part (8) of the housing (4), (8) has a non-circular shape (118), (117) for engagement with a corresponding non-circular form (28), (108) of the anchor (9) and/or the anchor deployment mechanism (106), (110), such that when the anchor (9) is held in the distal part (8) movement of the anchor (9) is restrained with respect to rotation of the anchor (9) about a longitudinal axis of the distal part (8) due to engagement between the non-circular shape (118), (117) and the non-circular form (28), (108).

L'invention concerne un dispositif cathéter (2) conçu pour implanter un ancrage (9) dans un tissu corporel pour fixer une bandelette (14) au tissu corporel. Le dispositif cathéter (2) comprend : une section de logement (4, 8) s'étendant à partir d'une extrémité distale du dispositif cathéter (2) le long de la longueur du dispositif cathéter (2) vers l'extrémité proximale du dispositif cathéter, la section de logement (4, 8) comprenant une partie distale (8) au niveau de l'extrémité distale du dispositif cathéter (2) et une partie proximale (4), située sur le côté proximal de la partie distale (8). Un mécanisme de déploiement d'ancrage (106, 110) est disposé au niveau de la partie distale (8) de la section de logement (4, 8) pour le déploiement de l'ancrage (9) pour la fixation de l'ancrage (9) au tissu corporel. L'ancrage (9) est maintenu dans sa position escamotée par le mécanisme de déploiement d'ancrage (106, 110) dans la partie distale (8) avant le déploiement et l'ancrage (9) comprend un certain nombre de crochets (62) pour venir en prise avec le tissu corporel et ayant une position pliée et une position dépliée, l'ancrage (9) étant constitué d'un matériau élastique de sorte que les crochets (62) puissent être déformés élastiquement dans la position pliée par application d'une force de contrainte et reviennent à la position dépliée quand aucune force de contrainte n'est appliquée et les crochets (62) étant maintenus dans la position pliée tandis que l'ancrage (9) est dans la position escamotée à l'intérieur de la partie distale (8). La partie distale (8) du logement (4, 8) a un profil non circulaire (118, 117) permettant une mise en prise avec une forme non circulaire correspondante (28, 108) de l'ancrage (9) et/ou du mécanisme de déploiement d'ancrage (106, 110), de sorte que lorsque l'ancrage (9) est maintenu dans la partie distale (8), le mouvement de l'ancrage (9) soit limité par rapport à la rotation de l'ancrage (9) autour d'un axe longitudinal de la partie distale (8) en raison de la prise entre le profil non circulaire (118, 117) et la forme non circulaire (28, 108).
