The process of the present invention relates to the biocatalytic transformation of isophorone (3,5,5-trimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-one) and 4-hydroxyisophorone by several unspecific peroxygenases produced by fungi. These biocatalysts, that only require H2O2 or organic peroxides for activation, potentially represent a novel simple and environmentally friendly route for the production of isophorone derivatives, such as the high value products for the pharmaceutical and flavour and fragrance industry 4-hydroxyisophorone and 4-ketoisophorone.

Le procédé de la présente invention concerne la transformation biocatalytique d'isophorone (3,5,5-triméthylcyclohex-2-én-1-one) et de 4-hydroxyisophorone par plusieurs peroxygénases non spécifiques produites par des champignons. Ces biocatalyseurs, nécessitant seulement H2O2 ou des peroxydes organiques pour leur activation , représentent potentiellement une nouvelle voie simple et respectueuse de l'environnement pour la production de dérivés d'isophorone, tels que les produits à valeur élevée pour l'industrie pharmaceutique, des arômes et des parfums que sont la 4-hydroxyisophorone et la 4-cétoisophorone.
