The invention relates to a new family of compounds of the type 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one and the use thereof as inhibitors of the toxic effects of intracellular-acting toxins, such as ricin, Shiga toxins or the cholera toxin, using retrograde transport to intoxicate the cells, or viruses or bacteria using retrograde and/or syntaxin 5-dependent transport to infect the cells, specifically viruses or bacteria entering into the cells by means of endocytosis, or intracellular parasites.

La présente invention a pour objet une nouvelle famille de composés du type 2,3- dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one et leur utilisation en tant qu'inhibiteurs des effets toxiques des toxines à activité intracellulaire, comme par exemple la ricine, les toxines de Shiga ou la toxine cholérique, utilisant le transport rétrograde pour intoxiquer les cellules, ou des virus ou bactéries utilisant le transport rétrograde et/ou dépendant de la syntaxine 5 pour infecter les cellules, notamment les virus ou bactéries entrant dans les cellules par endocytose, ou des parasites intracellulaires.
