Beschrieben werden Flammschutzmittelmischungen enthaltend: a) Salz einer Phosphinsäure der Formel (I), worin R1 und R2 unabhängig voneinander Alkyl-, Cycloalkyl-, Aryl- oder Aralkyl bedeuten, die gegebenenfalls substituiert sind, M ein m-wertiges Kation ist, und m 1 bis 4 bedeutet, b) Salz einer Phosphinsäure der Formel (II), das sich von Komponente a) unterscheidet, worin R3 gegebenenfalls substituiertes Alkyl-, Cycloalkyl-, Cycloalkyl-alkyl, Aryl- oder Aralkyl bedeutet, vorzugsweise mit Alkylresten als Substituenten, R4 Alkyl mit gerader Anzahl von Kohlenstoffatomen ist, mit der Maßgabe, dass für den Fall dass R1 und/oder R2 Alkyl sind, R4 die doppelte, dreifache oder vierfache Anzahl an Kohlenstoffatomen von R1 oder R2 aufweist, M ein n-wertiges Kation ist, und n 1 bis 4 bedeutet, c) Organylphosphonat, d) Phosphit, e) gegebenenfalls einen Vertreter ausgewählt aus der Gruppe Triazinkomplex, Polyphosphat, Hypophosphit, stickstoffhaltiges Diphosphat, Organophosphat, Phosphazen und/oder Polyphosphonat, f) gegebenenfalls einen Vertreter ausgewählt aus der Gruppe Metallhydroxid, Metallcarbonat, Metallborat, Zinkstannat und/oder Intumeszenzadditiv, und g) gegebenenfalls Pigment, wobei mindestens eine der Komponenten e) und/oder f) in der Mischung vorhanden sein muss. Die Mischungen lassen sich zur Herstellung von flammgeschützten Polymerzusammensetzungen enthaltend thermoplastische und elastomere Polymere einsetzen, welche sich hervorragend zur Herstellung von Kabelummantelungen oder Kabelisolierungen eignen.

The invention relates to flame-retardant mixtures containing: a) salt of a phosphinic acid of the formula (I), wherein R1 and R2 mean, independently of each other, alkyl-, cycloalkyl-, aryl- or aralkyl, which are substituted as applicable, M is an m-valent cation, and m means 1 to 4, b) salt of a phosphinic acid of the formula (II), which differs from component a), wherein R3 means substituted, as applicable, alkyl-, cycloalkyl-, cycloalkyl-alkyl, aryl- or aralkyl, preferably with alkyl radicals as substituents, R4 is alkyl having an even number of carbon atoms, provided that, in the case that R1 and/or R2 are alkyl, R4 has double, triple or quadruple the number of carbon atoms of R1 or R2, M is an n-valent cation and n means 1 to 4, c) organylphosphonate, d) phosphite, e) as applicable, a representative selected from the group consisting of triazine complex, polyphosphate, hypophosphite, nitrogenous diphosphate, organophosphate, phosphazene and/or polyphosphonate, f) as applicable, a representative selected from the group consisting of metal hydroxide, metal carbonate, metal borate, zinc stannate and/or intumescence additive, and g) as applicable, pigment, wherein at least one of components e) and/or f) must be present in the mixture. The mixtures can use thermoplastic and elastomeric polymers in order to produce flame-retardant polymer compositions, which are exceptionally suitable for producing cable sheathing or cable insulation.

L'invention concerne des mélanges ignifuges contenant : a) un sel d'un acide phosphinique de formule (I), où R1 et R2 représentent indépendamment un alkyle, cycloalkyle, aryle ou aralkyle, qui sont éventuellement substitués, M est un cation à valence m, et m représente 1 à 4, b) un sel d'un acide phosphinique de formule (II), qui est différent du constituant a), où R3 représente éventuellement un alkyle, cycloalkyle, cycloalkyl-alkyle, aryle ou aralkyle substitué, de préférence avec des radicaux alkyle en tant que substituants, R4 est un alkyle comportant un nombre pair d'atomes de carbone, à condition que, dans le cas où R1 et/ou R2 sont des alkyle, R4 présente un nombre double, triple ou quadruple d'atomes de carbone de R1 ou R2, M est un cation à valence n, et n représente 1 à 4, c) un organylphosphonate, d) un phosphite, e) éventuellement un représentant choisi dans le groupe complexe de triazine, polyphosphate, hypophosphite, diphosphate azoté, organophosphate, phosphazènes et/ou polyphosphonate, f) éventuellement un représentant choisi dans le groupe de l'hydroxyde métallique, du carbonate métallique, du borate métallique, du stannate de zinc et/ou d'un additif intumescent, et g) éventuellement un pigment, au moins l'un des constituants e) et/ou f) devant être présent dans le mélange. Les mélanges peuvent être utilisés pour préparer des compostions polymères ignifugées contenant des polymères thermoplastiques et élastomères, qui sont remarquablement appropriées pour préparer des revêtements de câble ou des isolations de câble.
