Abstract

The invention relates to a method for stabilizing the mechanical properties of an aluminium alloy part of the series 2000 of grade 2×19. This method comprises a step of thermally treating the part at a temperature of between 180 and 220°C for a duration greater than or equal to 300 hours. The part thus treated can be used at a temperature of up to 200°C without reducing its mechanical properties, in particular in an aircraft or a space vehicle.

L'invention concerne un procédé de stabilisation des propriétés mécaniques d'une pièce en alliage d'aluminium de la série 2000 de nuance 2x19. Ce procédé comprend une étape de traitement thermique de la pièce à une température comprise entre 180 et 220 °C pendant une durée supérieure ou égale à 300 heures. La pièce ainsi traitée peut être utilisée à une température jusqu'à 200 °C sans diminution de ses propriétés mécaniques, notamment dans un aéronef ou un véhicule spatial.
