The invention relates to a cover for a container body, in particular for a container of the metal preserving can type. The cover (1) comprises a removable part (5), which is delimited by a rupture initiation line (6) and which is equipped with an opening member (7). The removable part (5) has at least two successive zones: a downstream stiffening zone (54) and a bending zone (53) provided upstream of said downstream stiffening zone (54). The downstream stiffening zone (54) has at least one stiffening moulding (9) designed to confer longitudinal bending resistance on said downstream stiffening zone (54) during the tearing of said rupture initiation line (6). Moreover, the bending zone (53) has a transverse virtual axis (53') defining a bending line (53') generated on said removable part (5) during the tearing of said intermediate portions (613, 623). This configuration confers a "booster" effect, with a reduction in the overall energy required to end the step of manipulating the downstream stiffening zone (54).

L'invention concerne un couvercle pour un corps de contenant, en particulier pour un contenant du genre boîte de conserve métallique. Le couvercle (1) comprend une partie amovible (5) qui est délimitée par une ligne d'amorce de rupture (6) et qui est équipée d'un organe d'ouverture (7). La partie amovible (5) comporte au moins deux zones successives: une zone de rigidification aval (54) et une zone de pliage (53), ménagée en amont de ladite zone de rigidification aval (54). La zone de rigidification aval (54) comporte au moins une moulure de rigidification (9) agencée pour conférer une résistance en flexion longitudinale à ladite zone de rigidification aval (54) au cours de la déchirure de ladite ligne d'amorce de rupture (6). Et la zone de pliage (53) comporte un axe virtuel transversal (53') définissant une ligne de pliage (53') générée sur ladite partie amovible (5) au cours de la déchirure desdites portions intercalaires (613, 623). Cette configuration confère un effet «amplificateur»/«booster», avec une réduction de l'énergie globale nécessaire à la terminaison de l'étape de manoeuvre de la zone de rigidification aval (54).
