Abstract

A vehicular vision system (1) includes a camera (2a) disposed at a vehicle (3) and having a field of view rearward of the vehicle (3), a light source (4) disposed at the vehicle (3) and operable to emit light, and a control including an image processor. Light emitted by the light source (4), when operated, illuminates at least a portion of the field of view of the camera (2a). The light source (4) includes a plurality of light segments (5), and light emitted by each light segment (5) of the light source (4), when operated, illuminates a respective portion of the field of view of the camera (2a). Image data captured by the camera (2a) is provided to the control. The control, responsive to image processing by the image processor of image data captured by the camera (2a), controls intensity of the light emitted by each light segment (5) to provide enhanced object detection via processing by the image processor of captured image data.

L’invention concerne un système de vision de véhicule (1) qui comprend une caméra (2a) disposée au niveau d'un véhicule (3) et ayant un champ de vision arrière du véhicule (3), une source de lumière (4) disposée au niveau du véhicule (3) et actionnable pour émettre de la lumière, et une commande comprenant un processeur d'image. La lumière émise par la source de lumière (4), lorsqu'elle est actionnée, éclaire au moins une partie du champ de vision de la caméra (2a). La source de lumière (4) comprend une pluralité de segments de lumière (5), et la lumière émise par chaque segment de lumière (5) de la source de lumière (4), lorsqu'elle est actionnée, éclaire une partie respective du champ de vision de la caméra (2a). Des données d'image capturées par la caméra (2a) sont fournies à la commande. La commande, en réponse au traitement d'image par le processeur d'image de données d'image capturées par la caméra (2a), commande l'intensité de la lumière émise par chaque segment de lumière (5) pour fournir une détection d'objet améliorée par traitement par le processeur d'image de données d'image capturées.
