Method for controlling a traction device for a motor vehicle comprising an internal combustion engine (1), the engine (1) comprising a plurality of cylinders (2, 3, 4), each provided with at least one air intake valve (22), with at least one exhaust valve (23) for the combustion gases generated by the internal combustion engine (1), and with a fuel injector (6. 7, 8), and a treatment device (18) for the combustion gases that is active from an actuation temperature (Ts), said treatment device (18) being placed downstream of the exhaust valve (23).

Procédé de commande d'un dispositif de traction pour véhicule automobile comprenant un moteur à combustion interne (1), le moteur (1) comportant une pluralité de cylindres (2, 3, 4) chacun pourvu d'au moins une soupape d'admission d'air (22), d'au moins une soupape d'échappement (23) des gaz de combustion générés par le moteur à combustion interne (1) et d'un injecteur de carburant (6, 7, 8), et un dispositif de traitement (18) des gaz de combustion actif à partir d'une température de mise en action (Ts), ledit dispositif de traitement (18) étant placé en aval de la soupape d'échappement (23).
