Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren zum Stumpfstoßschweißen zweier, insbesondere plattenförmiger Werkstücke (2), mittels mindestens eines gepulsten Laserstrahls (3), insbesondere UKP-Laserstrahls, der in das Werkstückmaterial fokussiert wird, um die beiden Werkstücke (2) im Bereich ihrer Fügefläche (8) lokal aufzuschmelzen, wird der Laserfokus (F) des in das Werkstückmaterial fokussierten Laserstrahls (3) quer, insbesondere rechtwinklig, zur Fügefläche (8) bewegt, um im Bereich der Fügefläche (8) eine Schweißnaht (101, 102) zu erzeugen.

The invention relates to a method for butt-joint welding two, in particular planar workpieces (2) by means of at least one pulsed laser beam (3), in particular ultrashort pulse laser beam, which is focussed into the workpiece material. In order to melt the two workpieces (2) locally in the region of their joining surface (8), the laser focus (F) of the laser beam (3) focussed into the workpiece material is moved transversely, in particular at right angles, to the joining surface (8) to produce a weld seam (101, 102) in the region of the joining surface (8).

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'effectuer le soudage à joint plat de deux pièces (2), en particulier sous forme de plaques, au moyen d'au moins un faisceau laser (3) pulsé, en particulier un faisceau laser à impulsions ultra-brèves, qui est focalisé dans le matériau des pièces, de manière à faire fondre localement les deux pièces (2) dans la zone de leur surface de contact (8). Selon le procédé, le foyer laser (F) du faisceau laser (3) focalisé dans le matériau des pièces est déplacé transversalement, en particulier à angle droit, relativement à la surface de contact (8), de manière à former un joint soudé (101, 102) dans la zone de la surface de contact (8).
