A method (1000) for condition monitoring is disclosed, comprising registering (1010) values (v1) of movement characteristics measured for cycles of motion of a cyclically moving machine, associating (1050) the occurrence of values in a frequency distribution (Fv1) of the values with respective defined indexes (a, b, c, …) based on intervals, generating (1060) a word string (S) of the defined indexes corresponding to the occurrence of the values, segmenting (1070) said word string (S) into a sub-set of words (s1, s2, …, si), determining (1080) a frequency of the occurrence of the segmented words in said word string as a first reference term frequency (TF1), associated with a first machine status (M1), for subsequently registered set of values of movement characteristics, determining (1100) a subsequent term frequency (TFn), comparing (1110) the subsequent term frequency (TFn) with the first reference term frequency to determine a correlation with the first machine status.

L'invention concerne un procédé (1000) de surveillance d'état, comprenant l'enregistrement (1010) de valeurs (v1) de caractéristiques de mouvement mesurées pendant des cycles de mouvement d'une machine à mouvement cyclique, l'association (1050) de l'occurrence de valeurs, dans une distribution de fréquence (Fv1) des valeurs, à des indices définis respectifs (a, b, c, … ) basés sur des intervalles, la génération (1060) d'une chaîne de mots (S) des indices définis correspondant à l'occurrence des valeurs, la segmentation (1070) de ladite chaîne de mots (S) en un sous-ensemble de mots (s1, s2, …, si), la détermination (1080) d'une fréquence de l'occurrence des mots segmentés dans ladite chaîne de mots à titre de première fréquence de terme de référence (TF1), associée à un premier état de machine (M1), pour un ensemble enregistré ultérieurement de valeurs de caractéristiques de mouvement, la détermination (1100) d'une fréquence de terme suivante (TFn), la comparaison (1110) de la fréquence de terme suivante (TFn) à la première fréquence de terme de référence pour déterminer une corrélation avec le premier état de machine.
