Abstract

The present invention relates to a plate heat exchanger for treatment of a feed. The plate heat exchanger defines a heat exchanging zone being formed by ridges and valleys in the opposing heat exchanging plates which are arranged such that opposing ridges of the opposing heat exchanging plates abut each other. The plate heat exchanger defines a passage located between a lower border and the heat exchanging zone and extending from a feed inlet in the transversal direction for receiving the feed from the feed inlet and allowing a uniform distribution of the feed over the heat exchanging zone. The plate heat exchanger further defines a transition zone separating the heat exchanging zone and the passage, the maximum distance between opposing heat exchanging plates in the transition zone being smaller than the maximum distance between opposing heat exchanging plates in the passage and in the heat exchanging zone.

La présente invention concerne un échangeur de chaleur à plaques pour le traitement d'une charge. L'échangeur de chaleur à plaques définit une zone d'échange de chaleur formée par des crêtes et des creux dans les plaques d'échange de chaleur opposées qui sont agencées de sorte que des crêtes opposées des plaques d'échange de chaleur opposées viennent en butée les unes contre les autres. L'échangeur de chaleur à plaques définit un passage situé entre une bordure inférieure et la zone d'échange de chaleur et s'étendant à partir d'une entrée de charge dans la direction transversale pour recevoir la charge en provenance de l'entrée de charge et permettre une distribution uniforme de la charge sur la zone d'échange de chaleur.
