Abstract

A stator (1) and a stator housing (2) for an electric machine (3) is disclosed. The stator housing (2) comprises an opening (5) to receive the stator (1) in a direction extending along a longitudinal axis of the electric machine (3) to enable the stator housing (2) to be shrink-fitted to the stator (1). The shape of the opening (5) in the stator housing (2) lying in a cross-sectional plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis comprises four quarter circle arcs (10), with at least two of the quarter circle arcs (10) being separated by a non-zero distance, the stator (1) having a corresponding shape to the stator housing (2).

L'invention concerne un stator (1) et un boîtier de stator (2) pour une machine électrique (3). Le boîtier de stator (2) comprend une ouverture (5) pour recevoir le stator (1) dans une direction s'étendant le long d'un axe longitudinal de la machine électrique (3) pour permettre au boîtier de stator (2) d'être ajusté par contraction sur le stator (1). La forme de l'ouverture (5) dans le boîtier de stator (2) se trouvant dans un plan de section perpendiculaire à l'axe longitudinal comprend quatre arcs en quart de cercle (10), au moins deux des arcs en quart de cercle (10) étant séparés par une distance non nulle, le stator (1) ayant une forme correspondante au boîtier de stator (2).
