In a method for tuning at least one parameter of a noise cancellation enabled audio system with an ear mountable playback device (HP) comprising a speaker (SP) and a feed forward microphone (FF_MIC) the playback device (HP) is placed onto a measurement fixture (MF), the speaker (SP) facing a test microphone (ECM) located within an ear canal representation (EC). The parameter is varied between a plurality of settings while a test sound is played. A measurement signal from the test microphone (ECM) is received and stored in the audio system at least while the parameter is varied. A power minimum in the stored measurement signal and a tune parameter associated with the power minimum are determined in the audio system from the plurality of settings of the varied parameter.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de réglage d'au moins un paramètre d'un système audio à élimination de bruit activée avec un dispositif de lecture pouvant être monté sur l'oreille (HP) comprenant un haut-parleur (SP) et un microphone à couplage vers l'avant (FF_MIC). Le dispositif de lecture (HP) est placé sur un appareil de mesure (MF), le haut-parleur (SP) fait face à un microphone d'essai (ECM) situé à l'intérieur d'une représentation d'un conduit auditif externe (EC). Le paramètre est varié entre une pluralité de réglages tandis qu'un son d'essai est lu. Un signal de mesure provenant du microphone d'essai (ECM) est reçu et stocké dans le système audio au moins, pendant que le paramètre est varié. Un minimum de puissance dans le signal de mesure stocké et un paramètre de réglage associé au minimum de puissance sont déterminés dans le système audio à partir de la pluralité de réglages du paramètre varié.
