Die Erfindung betrifft eine Rotationsdruckmaschine mit mindestens einem Druckwerk (03) zum Bedrucken von Substraten (21), wobei im Transportweg der Substrate (21) in oder nach dem mindestens einen Druckwerk (03) eine Trocknungseinheit (22) vorgesehen ist, wobei von dem mindestens einen Druckwerk (03) bedruckte Substrate (21) durch eine Kammer (23) dieser Trocknungseinheit (22) geführt oder zumindest führbar sind, wobei in der Kammer (23) der Trocknungseinheit (22) eine durch ein Inertgas sauerstoffreduzierte Atmosphäre vorgesehen ist, wobei in der Kammer (23) der Trocknungseinheit (22) entlang des Transportweges der Substrate (21) mehrere Saugwalzen (48) derart angeordnet sind, dass sie durch ihre jeweilige Rotation die bedruckten Substrate (21) durch diese Kammer (23) fördern, wobei die Trocknungseinheit (22) einen Elektronenstrahl-Generator (28) zum Trocknen der bedruckten Substrate (21) mittels eines in die Kammer (23) gerichteten Elektronenstrahls aufweist,wobei der Elektronenstrahl auf die bedruckten Substrate (21) gerichtet ist, wobei der Elektronenstrahl-Generator (28) im Inneren der Trocknungseinheit (22) ortsfest angeordnet ist, wobei die zu trocknenden Substrate (21) jeweils mit ihrer bedruckten Seite dem Elektronenstrahl-Generator (28) zugewandt entlang ihres Transportweges zumindest teilweise um den Elektronenstrahl-Generator (28) herumgeführt sind.

The invention relates to a rotary printing machine with at least one printing unit (03) for printing substrates (21). A drying unit (22) is provided in the transport path of the substrates (21) in or downstream of the at least one printing unit (03), wherein substrates (21) printed by the at least one printing unit (03) are guided or at least can be guided through a chamber (23) of the drying unit (22). An atmosphere which is oxygen-reduced by means of an inert gas is provided in the chamber (23) of the drying unit (22), and multiple suction rollers (48) are arranged in the chamber (23) of the drying unit (22) along the transport path of the substrates (21) such that the suction rollers convey the printed substrates (21) through the chamber (23) by means of the rotation of each roller. The drying unit (22) has an electron beam generator (28) in order to dry the printed substrates (21) by means of an electron beam directed into the chamber (23), and the electron beam is directed onto the printed substrates (21). The electron beam generator (28) is arranged in the interior of the drying unit (22) in a stationary manner, and the substrates (21) to be dried are guided at least partly about the electron beam generator (28) along the transport path such that the printed side of each substrate faces the electron beam generator (28).
