Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Hydrophobierung von Granulat aus mineralischem Leichtbaustoff, bei dem in einem Behälter der mineralische Leichtbaustoff mit einer Creme, welche 1) C1-C12-Alkyl-C1-C6-alkoxysilane und 2) Wasser und 3) Emulgator enthält, versetzt wird und mindestens 1 Stunde gelagert wird.

The present invention relates to a process for hydrophobizing a granulate of mineral lightweight construction material, wherein in a container the mineral lightweight construction material is admixed with a cream containing 1) C1-C12-alkyl-C1-C6-alkoxysilanes and 2) water and 3) emulsifier and stored for at least 1 hour.
