The present disclosure relate to interaction between intra block copy mode and sub-block based motion vector prediction mode. A method for video processing is provided, including: splitting a current video block into sub-blocks, during a conversion between a current video block and a bitstream representation of the current video block based on subblock-based temporal motion vector prediction (SbTMVP) mode; identifying, based on motion information of a spatial neighboring block of the current video block, a corresponding block, for a sub-block, in a motion source picture with a temporal vector; generating, based on coded mode information of the corresponding block, a motion vector and a reference index of the sub-block from the corresponding block of the sub-block; and performing the conversion based on the generated motion vector and reference index.

La présente invention concerne l'interaction entre un mode de copie intra-bloc et un mode de prédiction de vecteur de mouvement basé sur un sous-bloc. L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement vidéo, comprenant les étapes suivantes consistant à : diviser un bloc vidéo courant en sous-blocs, pendant une conversion entre un bloc vidéo courant et une représentation de flux binaire du bloc vidéo courant sur la base d'un mode de prédiction de vecteur de mouvement temporel basée sur un sous-bloc (SbTMVP) ; identifier, sur la base d'informations de mouvement d'un bloc voisin spatial du bloc vidéo courant, un bloc correspondant, pour un sous-bloc, dans une image de source de mouvement avec un vecteur temporel ; générer, sur la base d'informations de mode codé du bloc correspondant, un vecteur de mouvement et un indice de référence du sous-bloc à partir du bloc correspondant du sous-bloc ; et réaliser la conversion sur la base du vecteur de mouvement généré et de l'indice de référence.
