Provided is an image generating device, which can easily generate a synthesized image and the like by using a device with less computational processing capability, and can suppress the reduction of reproducibility of a subject represented by the synthesized image. The image generating device generates the synthesized image on the basis of a plurality of captured images captured by a flying body, and comprises a processing unit for performing the processing related to the generation of the synthesized image. The processing unit acquires the plurality of captured images captured by a photographing device of the flying body, generates a three-dimensional model on the basis of the plurality of captured images, acquires postures of the photographing device when capturing the plurality of captured images, on the basis of the postures of the photographing device and the three-dimensional model, calculating the distances between positions of the photographing device when capturing the plurality of captured images and the three-dimensional model, adjusting sizes of the plurality of captured images according to the distances between positions of the photographing device and the three-dimensional model, and synthesizing the resized plurality of captured images to generate the synthesized image.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de génération d'image pouvant facilement générer une image synthétisée et assimilée à l'aide d'un dispositif ayant une moindre capacité de traitement de calcul et pouvant mettre fin à la diminution de la reproductibilité d'un sujet représenté par l'image synthétisée. Le dispositif de génération d'image génère l'image synthétisée sur la base d'une pluralité d'images capturées par un engin volant. Ledit dispositif comprend une unité de traitement conçue pour effectuer le traitement associé à la génération de l'image synthétisée. L'unité de traitement procède aux opérations consistant à : acquérir la pluralité d'images capturées par un dispositif de photographie de l'engin volant ; générer un modèle tridimensionnel sur la base de la pluralité d'images capturées ; acquérir des positions du dispositif de photographie lors de la capture de la pluralité d'images capturées ; sur la base des positions du dispositif de photographie et du modèle tridimensionnel, calculer les distances entre les positions du dispositif de photographie lors de la capture de la pluralité d'images capturées et du modèle tridimensionnel ; ajuster les dimensions de la pluralité d'images capturées en fonction des distances entre les positions du dispositif de photographie et du modèle tridimensionnel ; et synthétiser la pluralité d'images capturées redimensionnées de façon à générer l'image synthétisée.
