A display panel and a display device thereof. The display panel comprises a substrate (10), and a color film layer (20) is disposed on the substrate (10). First color resists (22, 24) are provided in the color film layer (20), wherein green or red quantum dots are provided in the first color resists (22, 24). First light-shielding layers (21, 23) are further provided on the first color resists (22, 24), and a material employed thereby comprises a yellow photoresist material or a red photoresist material. A display panel and a display device thereof, which may improve the color purity of green light or red light emitted by quantum dots in the color resists thereof after excitation.
