Abstract

A computer-implemented system and method of determining a virtual camera path. The method comprises determining an action path in video data of a scene, wherein the action path includes at least two points, each of the two points defining a three-dimensional position and a time in the video data; and selecting a template for a virtual camera path, the template camera path including information defining a template camera path with respect to an associated template focus path. The method further comprises aligning the template focus path with the determined action path in the scene and transforming the template camera path based on the alignment to determine the virtual camera path.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur permettant de déterminer une trajectoire de caméra virtuelle. Le procédé consiste à déterminer une trajectoire d'action dans les données vidéo d'une scène, la trajectoire d'action comprenant au moins deux points, chacun des deux points définissant une position tridimensionnelle et une heure dans les données vidéo ; et sélectionner un modèle pour une trajectoire de caméra virtuelle, la trajectoire de caméra modèle comprenant des informations définissant une trajectoire de caméra modèle par rapport à une trajectoire de focalisation de modèle associée. Le procédé consiste également à : aligner la trajectoire de focalisation de modèle avec la trajectoire d'action déterminée dans la scène ; et transformer la trajectoire de caméra modèle d’après l’alignement afin de déterminer la trajectoire de caméra virtuelle.
