A rechargeable hearing aid system comprising a hearing aid capable of amplifying or selectively amplifying surrounding sounds, a rechargeable battery unit that can comprise a rechargeable battery of any form, a ferrite sheet, an inductive charging coil in electrical communication with said rechargeable battery and a power source. In operation, the hearing aid can be placed in proximity to the power source and the batter within the hearing aid can be charged absent direct electrical contact between the power source and the battery.

La présente invention concerne un système de prothèse auditive rechargeable comprenant une prothèse auditive capable d'amplifier ou d'amplifier sélectivement des sons environnants, une unité de batterie rechargeable qui peut comprendre une batterie rechargeable de n'importe quelle forme, une feuille de ferrite, une bobine de charge inductive en communication électrique avec ladite batterie rechargeable et une source d'alimentation. En fonctionnement, la prothèse auditive peut être placée à proximité de la source d'alimentation et la batterie à l'intérieur de la prothèse auditive peut être chargée sans contact électrique direct entre la source d'alimentation et la batterie.
