Methods and systems for efficient airspace design and planning using the Airspace Information Model are described. In one example aspect a method for designing an improved airspace model includes receiving a first user input that comprises one or more parameters, generating, based on the first user input an airspace design, performing a validation of the airspace design against an aviation standard, the validation comprising a set of design rales and criteria for evaluation of aircraft performance and safety of operations, generating, based on at least the parametric model, at least one key performance indicator (KPI) for the airspace design, providing for display a value of the at least one KPI, receiving a second user input that comprises an updated value for at least one of the one or more parameters, and providing for display, based on the second input, an updated value of the at least one KPI.

L'invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes de conception et de planification efficaces de l'espace aérien à l'aide du modèle d'informations d'espace aérien. Selon un aspect donné à titre d'exemple, un procédé de conception d'un modèle d'espace aérien amélioré consiste à recevoir une première entrée d'utilisateur qui comprend un ou plusieurs paramètres, à générer, sur la base de l'entrée de premier utilisateur, une conception d'espace aérien, à réaliser une validation de la conception d'espace aérien par rapport à une norme d'aviation, la validation comprenant un ensemble de règles et de critères de conception pour l'évaluation des performances d'un aéronef et la sécurité des opérations, à générer, sur la base au moins du modèle paramétrique, au moins un indicateur de performance clé (KPI) pour la conception d'espace aérien, à fournir une valeur dudit KPI à des fins d'affichage, à recevoir une seconde entrée d'utilisateur qui comprend une valeur mise à jour pour au moins un paramètre parmi le ou les paramètres, et à fournir, sur la base de la seconde entrée, une valeur mise à jour dudit KPI.
